I teach at a school with approximately 400 diverse students. Students see me once or twice a week for thirty to sixty minutes in their general music classes. Every day it is honor to come to school and work with eager students who are joyful in making music. Students are engaged with singing, movement, composition, and playing instruments on a daily basis. Our school is a Trauma Sensitive school with a lot of families qualifying for free and reduced meals. With your help, we can update classroom materials so that our kids can have a quality and successful musical experience at the elementary level.
