I am an occupational therapist with Anderson 5 school district. I work with children with special needs from three through 21 years. Our pre-school programs are designed for three and four-year-old children with special needs and include, but are not limited to; Autism, Cerebral Palsy, and Developmental Delays. I often work with children to address difficulties with fine motor control, sensory processing and behavioral skills, and improving independence in self-care skills such as feeding. I am always looking for new and exciting ways to incorporate sensory interventions into the classroom settings, that can assist in guiding teachers in use of the intervention on a daily basis.
