My student's are amazing! They march to their own beat, and make me smile every day. I work with students from six different elementary schools. They have a myriad of special needs that include: Autism, Down Syndrome, ADHD, cognitive disabilities, emotional disabilities, developmental delay, Cerebral Palsy etc... My schools are located in rural Indiana, in a high poverty area. Each student has his or her areas of strength that shine through. They also have real struggles, that they must face on a daily basis. I work with some great teachers who truly want to help each child and provide individualized education plans to meet his or her needs.
