My students are experienced in both readers and writers workshop. We use these models as well as cross curricular teaching topics to make 3rd grade an exciting and memorable time. "There is no such thing as a child who hates to read, there are only children that have not found the right book." I want to create a warm and inviting space for my kids and I to gather together and discuss our book clubs, writing projects or literature inspirations. The rug and easel chart will make our classroom charts easily accessible and the kids can sit close by to learn best. White boards for small group work and reinforcement activities. Bags for the children to take books back and forth from school and home daily. Never leaver home without a book!
