Many students come in with the mindset of Math being hard and boring. My partner teacher and I have thought of ways to make math more hands on and fun for students. We have thought of ways to make math STICK. We have thought of many ways to make math class more exciting. We have asked for whiteboards and markers because we want to give our students the chance to show what they know on more than just paper. Giving our students quick checks for understanding in the moment on whiteboards is a quick way to see who is understanding math concepts. The glue sticks and scissors in our project will go to making manipulatives that will make many of the abstract concepts concrete. Thank you for helping us to bridge the gap in our math classroom!
