The posters will fill the boring blank space in my classroom with engaging, relevant, and helpful content that my students can use as a learning resource. Students who have fun while learning are more likely to remember the content; therefore I want to stock my classroom with engaging activities, including math games, games on linear functions, integer operations and quadratic functions, and resources like posters on graphing coordinate plane, slope and equations of lines, and more that can be used in all of my classes. Lastly, most of my students don't have calculators, and my annual budget does not allow for calculators after copy paper, pencils, and other necessities. My ultimate goal is to be able to provide TI-84 graphing calculators for my students to use, but I am asking for the more affordable TI scientific calculator since there are so many other items on the list. Students can only learn to use the technology effectively if they have it available to practice with and use on a regular basis.
