By funding my project, you will be making a difference in every student's learning! The bouncy chair bands will wrap around students' desks, allowing students to put their feet up and bounce them during the lesson. Additionally, the three wiggle seats will be available for students to check out from me if they would like to have added movement. "Movement is the starting point for wiring the brain for learning" -Gill Connell. Studies show that students who are allowed to move will be better able to focus on the lesson. I try to add lots of brain breaks and games into my classroom, in order to keep students engaged and active in their learning. This project will help students continue to wiggle during the moments when we need to be seated.
