Math is more than just numbers. It's a creative, visual subject that provides lots of opportunities for numbers to come alive through hands-on manipulatives and various visual supports. These hands-on math manipulative will allow my students to make meaning of challenging, abstract math concepts all while having fun with math. Students will be able to build concrete models of fractions and other numbers that will deepen their understanding of mathematics. My students understanding of fractions and our base 10 number system will soar with these additional supplies that will help make math more accessible for all my learners in the classroom.
