We all have bad days every now and then, and kids are no different! The items requested will allow our students to come into my classroom and sit in the comfy, relaxing quiet corner that I am trying to create for them, on "those days", so that they can take a break and go back to class ready to focus and learn! Kids have a difficult time expressing their emotions when something is going on at home, so many times they act out and get in trouble, either because they don't listen to the adults, or because they fight with their classmates. Teaching them about their feelings, and about getting along with others is a vital part of their learning experience at school. Learning about themselves and about socializing and getting along better with others will help make them well rounded individuals!
