The main goal of my project is to foster a love of learning among the students in my classroom. All of the stuff in this project will benefit the students' learning and learning environment. Many students have their own struggles at home and I want to ensure school is a place they can escape those struggles and focus on learning. Not only do I want them to learn, I want them to love learning! If students have books about things they are interested in learning about, then it will help foster their life-long love of reading. I have chosen books that will be appealing to my students. Books will also be used to support common core learning standards. I have chosen other materials to support listening & reading skills as well. When this project is funded students will have a listening center, reading corner, new books, and new centers. These things will help create a comfortable environment to foster a love of learning for students. Students will use math centers and science centers daily to reinforce what is being taught to them in class. I have carefully chosen things that will help make learning fun for students!
