I am the school's SRO and as such, it is my responsibility to keep my students have a safe learning environment. Part of building this safe learning environment is building my relationships with the students and staff. These relationships allow the students to feel comfortable coming to me with issues they are having at school and home. But, how is this item list going to help? Building relationships is a key component of keeping the school safe. These items will allow me to bond with my students (dodgeball), create a higher presence of safety to my students and parents (cones), promote cleanliness (Clorox wipes), and encourage the students to wear their masks through exciting designs. Our school lacks items they need, this is only the beginning of a long-haul project of items that the school will benefit from. However, these items will allow me to begin working towards the environment I am aiming to achieve.
