My students come from a wide range of backgrounds. My school is truly a melting pot of many nationalities. We celebrate this by teaching social skills and a plethora of academic skills in each and every subject. Oak Hill is a Title 1 school, because a great deal of our students come from low income families. Some of my students do not have access to facilities that lend them to be active. It is my job to inspire them to be creative with limited resources. I also want to provide them with many opportunities to practice skills in my classroom.
