The use of chart paper is a daily activity in my classroom to model during whole lessons on the rug. When students need to share, having individual dry erase boards makes it easy for them to write answers to display and it helps to cut down on wait time. The use of chart paper is not only for whole group lessons, but a great way to display large graphic organizers to support students as they work independently. Not only do we want to laugh and learn, but we want to practice good hygiene throughout the year. Teaching my students how to clean their noses is a lesson at the beginning of the school year. During unprecedented times of teaching during Covid-19, it is even more important that my students have tissues at their disposal to help prevent students from wiping their noses with their hands. A supply of facial tissue will help the spread of germs.
When my students complete assignments, I love to display it around the classroom because it makes them feel proud to see their work displayed like an exhibit in a museum. Having borders will help to create a beautiful area to display student work.
By donating to our project, you are helping students cut down on wait time, providing students with individual learning resources, and creating a beautiful classroom exhibit of kindergarten work. Your donations will also help to combat the spread of germs with facial tissues.
