My students are the light of my life. In a school of around 800 pre-k through 5th grade students, I feel like we are somehow all on a "first-name" basis. I spend a lot of time making my clinic very laid-back, relaxing and welcoming. I wanted to create a space for my students to feel comfortable coming if they are hungry, dirty, tired or need something that we all take for granted like clothes or a toothbrush as well as a space that can take care of bloody noses, abrasions or broken arms. I love each and every one of them and I think they deserve personalized, loving and above all during this time- safe care.
