Recently, our district adopted a new science curriculum, National Geographic Exploring Science. The students love the engaging format of the lessons and the hands-on experiments and investigations that are part of the lessons. I've seen my students' curiosity and interest spark as a result of using the new series. I love hearing the questions they are now asking about the world around them! They've become budding scientists eager to learn about and take on the world! These readers will allow for this excitement and curiosity to carry over into our literacy block through texts that are just right for each reader. The engaging texts compliment the units in our science curriculum and extend learning by allowing students to deepen their understanding of the science concepts being taught. My students and I truly appreciate your support!
