Your generous donations will assist in achievement for our scholars. They would be able to participate and use manipulatives while teaching and learning take place. As a teacher I would be able to teach more effectively in small groups utilizing many of the supplies purchase. The donations for this project will improve our classroom by reducing the amount of behavioral issues and improving the quality of learning. Timers will be used so scholars know how much work time they have left. The small group teaching easel which will assist during mini-lessons with scholars while in the classroom. The whiteboards will be offered to scholars, so they may work where they are comfortable. The use of them is a daily activity in the classroom. Using the workshop model in math, reading and writing, scholars use them for guided practice and to record modeled strategies. The whiteboards allow me to see exactly what they are doing. Scholars need math manipulatives to explore while at Learning Center. They use manipulatives during whole group and small group time, learning letters and sounds as they make words, numbers, and sets as we explore counting skills. Your generous donation to our project will improve our classroom by building a stronger reader, writer and mathematician.
