"I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand." - Confucius Learning to read and write will be exciting with multisensory tools like these! Students will highlight their way to becoming better readers as they learn the alphabet with entertaining (and educational!) pop-its, which will also create stronger typists in older grades. I will reinforce penmanship with the colored sand: a fun, kinesthetic tool that provides tactile feedback to students who struggle with writing. Screen protectors will be reused to play academic games, practice writing, and apply newly learned concepts independently and in small groups. These tools will assist my eager students to "do and understand!”
