I have the privilege of serving students who have been diagnosed with learning disabilities. They are loving, energetic, and have a thirst for knowledge. Every day they enter my room asking what they get to learn. They take pride in themselves and give their all in the classroom. If you ask them their favorite subject, all of them would reply with science. The school is a Title I school meaning most of the population falls into what is considered poverty and qualify for free or reduced lunch. The teachers at the school have a passion for all the students and work together to ensure they feel safe and loved in the learning environment. The school is also working towards STEAM certification.

About my class
