Our school (and my alma mater!) is, and has been for the last 99 years, the premiere public high school for African-Americans in New Orleans. Our students come from across the city to continue the legacy of academic excellence, no matter what struggle they may encounter. Everyday they continue to break the odds to secure their place as future ambassadors for our ever-recovering city and school.

About my class
