I am going into my first year of teaching and realizing very quickly the cost of starting up a classroom. I have spent hundreds of dollars out of pocket and have so much more to supply to create a successful classroom environment, so I’m reaching out for a little extra help! My goal is to create a classroom where my fourth graders will feel safe, calm, and ready to learn! I will be purchasing bean bag chairs, a saucer chair, colorful calming lamps, an aroma diffuser, and essential oils to be used in my classroom library and safe space where students will go to calm down and refocus if they are upset. I am also purchasing basic materials such as clipboards, dry erase boards, chalk, and bins that I and my students will use everyday in my class. As a thank you for your generous donation, you will get a card signed by all of my students to show our appreciation!
