Thank you for considering my classroom projects! My students actually ASK for projects to do in class. While I DO have many materials and work in a very supportive school district, there are many consumable items that are just too expensive for me to personally buy for 150 students. It is disappointing when we just don't have the $ to purchase some of the more expensive science materials. I have taught for 16 years, have National Board Certification in Science, and consider myself a SMENGLISH teacher because science, math, and english go together! We research, write, argue, conduct hands-on activities, and incorporate art whenever we can. I am so very thankful to work and to be a parent in my school district mostly because we are supported in our creativity to implement new ideas, and our students are families are awesome!!
