These hands-on activities will allow my students to understand, connect, and navigate their learning. We will use the Magnetic Alphabet and alphabet beads to spell and identify our names. The Color Maze will help students sort and identify colors. Number Boards and Counting Mats will be used to develop number sense and counting skills through repetition. The Pattern Blocks and Geometry Center will be used during guided math to learn shapes and colors. The Stampers and Sponge Painters will be used during our writing center to develop fine motor skills. Language Lotto, Positional Words, and Create a Burger Sequence will help develop and support hands-on language and communication skills through object identification. The Walking Rope will guide my students to develop social skills and safety awareness. All of these materials will help my non-verbal students with Autism develop academic and language skills through hands-on learning.
