My students come from low-income families and most have never seen or used a microscope. By allowing students to play/learn it will give them the chance to see the microscopic world. Not just on the Internet, but in real life. Students will be able to experience the wonder of it and get real-world experience with this tool. The more the students interact with science tools the more they will seek out science as a career in the future. These microscopes will provide them with knowledge and a starting point for continued learning.
