My students need hairnets and beard covers to follow guidelines in foodservice, as well as preventing cross-contamination at multiple levels. The students will be able to see just how easily foodborne illnesses can be caused by improper handwashing; therefore, the flashlights and glow soap will be ideal products to demonstrate the curriculum to them. It will provide learning for the visual learning style, as well as kinesthetic. The clipboards can be used for collaborative lab assignments in recording data, as well as performing the guidelines of health inspectors when learning about operating and maintaining a safe food facility.
