Our charter school is the most ethnically diverse school in Washington, D.C. We serve over 350 students, ages 3-10, from nearly every zip code in the District of Columbia, with a broad range of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. We are an "Expeditionary Learning" school and our students frequently take on expeditions that tackle real-world problems, inspiring the D.C. community and beyond. Our school also values the arts as a vital part of our students' education and our students perform regularly in music productions throughout the year. We like to think of our students as current world citizens capable of inspiring and affecting change in our society and we strive to educate the "whole child" in a balanced, rigorous, and fun environment. This is particularly evident in music class - an hour per week in which every student shines!
