Laminated classroom materials are durable to use with a variety of learners for multiple years. Lamination pouches will be used to create file folder activities that can be used both in small group settings and in independent work centers. By allowing students the opportunity to practice skills in small groups first and then independently, they are building mastery of skills. Dry erase crayons work better in my classroom and will be used directly on the file folders. Velcro will be used to make many of the file folders interactive for my students who are not yet able to write. Tape and sandwich bags will be used to create the folders and store pieces for the interactive folders, as well as the dry erase crayons. By donating to my project, you are helping students to become more independent in their skills, while providing ways to demonstrate mastery and generalization. Students will be able to show their knowledge of academic, pre-academic, and life skills with engaging and meaningful materials, and ultimately feel successful.
