All of my students have different learning needs and sitting in a traditional classroom chair and desk is no different. The Gaiam balance balls,and Kore wobble chairs will provide my student population the opportunity to learn and move to strengthen their core muscles and actively engage their brains in the learning process. In my classroom, I value the whole child by providing a learning environment that allows the ability of flexible seating to accommodate the wide range of students needs. In order to allow for differentiation of seating, students will benefit from clipboards to complete their daily work in a mobile classroom with core strengthening chairs and balls. By funding this project will allow my students the ability to learn in motion!
