These headphones will enhance my students' learning experiences while working on iPads. Using headphones will help my students increase their attention while completing online assignments in various applications for learning. Headphones will also help reduce background noise so that students can focus on the sounds coming out of them. For example, my kiddos will be able to clearly hear directions I record on their learning platforms, as well as listen to and concentrate on audiobooks. My students will benefit from having their own set of headphones for many important reasons. Some students are very sensitive to their environment and may need a break from the activities and noises surrounding them. Headphones help reduce the stress and anxiety they may feel when overstimulated. They also provide a safe auditory break because the volume can be controlled for comfortable listening. Students take benchmark assessments several times during the school year to track their progress. These tests are administered online through apps which ask them questions out loud. All students will be able to take their tests at the same time if we have headphones for each student. This will increase instructional learning time, as well. I will teach my kids how to treat the headphones with respect and care so that they can be used for a very long time, and I can guarantee my students will be so thankful for your donation!
