Headphones will help many of my students complete the weekly 45-minute online math program necessary for a new curriculum my district implemented online. They require headphones to complete their assignments since it shows "how-to" videos based on their math level. Each student must listen to the instructions and complete the assignment. Unfortunately, my funding has been cut and I cannot afford these headphones on my own. With roughly 32-34 students per class (including Special day mainstreaming from a different classroom), it creates a difficult learning environment when 34 different instructions are being given aloud, causing students to lose focus. This is especially true for special day students who need a quiet environment to learn and process new information.
