The 4 iPad tablets will be used to create a "Reading /Literacy Station" in a Special Education English Language Arts (ELA) classroom. Students that are reading well below grade level will be guided in small groups through reading programming, where they will be assessed in real-time and able to receive immediate interventions through the use of technology. This will make them better prepared for ELA content and life. The tablets will help many students. As a special education teacher, I teach classes in my my room and assist general education teachers by providing interventions and strategies in their classrooms to their diverse learner population and general ed population. The impact of these 4 tablets will be far reaching.
