Our school's focus on STEM/STEAM project learning drives a need for technology in the classroom. In our Science Lab, students have the opportunity to conduct hands-on science investigations using awesome tools just like real-world scientists in the lab. The only problem is, some of these tools require up to date technology that we do not have access to! On our campus, students use Chromebooks for a variety of tasks outside the lab in their regular classrooms for testing and assignments. Having access to Chromebooks in the lab will open up a wealth of opportunity for research and exploration, use of science tools already in the lab that do not have up to date technology available to run them, and the ability to participate in the new Google Classroom platform for the Science Lab that gives students access to more learning opportunities that do not fit completely into our lab block.
