Reading takes one on all sorts of adventures and that is what I want to help instill in my students. With these new book sets, they will help develop the love of reading through choice and increase independent reading ability. Having different sets of books for our book clubs students will be able to experience different genres, increase fluency, and comprehension through the small group collaborative discussions. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student engagement but also their reading comprehension. When students are collaborating about a book they've read their academic engagement improves. They are using 21st-century skills through collaboration and helping them pave their future.

About my class
