Traditional seating can sometimes be uncomfortable and boring. An uncomfortable student, is a distracted and unproductive student. Flexible seating allows them to wobble, rock, lean or stand, which increases oxygen flow to the brain, blood flow and core strength. Flexible seating also helps keep young minds more alert and focused. Flexible seating encourages students to find their best spot to stay calm, focused and productive. I feel that comfortable students are engaged students. The floor seats that I chose will be used to help students find a comfortable spot to do their assignments and listen to lessons. The lap desks will give them a sturdy place to organize their materials, such as, Chromebooks, pencils binders and notebooks on and inside. The disinfectant will be used after each class period to make sure that no one is being exposed to germs.
