We're looking at the food business by having our students create their own Taco Truck Business! Students will create business plans - complete with financial statements, marketing strategies, and sales projections. They will create menus that are both profitable and tasty! Students will then create 3D models of their Taco Trucks. To make these items look professional, it would be helpful to have a color printer. A color printer will allow students to showcase their work in a way that is both accurate and attractive - which is exactly what you want from a professional business plan. The Taco Truck Fair is a day when the entire school community (parents included) get to come and witness what our students have produced. The taco trucks are evaluated by a panel of judges and grades 6 & 7 come and 'buy' from the trucks using our own Taco Truck Currency. It's a fun way to bring life to the business side of food!
