Please help us purchase ceramic tile for the Tillamook Junior High mosaic mural installation that will be student created and permanently placed above the school's entrance. Students who can't afford to play after school sports or don't want to, could participate in this creative, community building outlet after school. Over the past 3 years my after school mural club has painted the cafeteria in beautiful healthy food choices and two lively 3-D lion murals crashing through the wall. Each of these murals has created school/community pride, spirit, and an increase in art appreciation as well as follow through in working hard. We currently have a small 6sqft, outdated welcome sign in front of our school. I would offer an after school mosaic club and also give the whole student body and staff members access times to contribute to the project, starting with a design contest in December. Help fund this by Nov. 1, 2014!
