Creating a classroom of creativity will allow my Kindergartners to explore and learn through engaging, developmentally appropriate activities by using buttons, crayons, markers, paper, storage options, and other resources from my list. Our school falls under Title I funding for so many of our students falling under the low income or impoverished economic status. Replenishing consumable resources in the classroom is extremely important because most do not have the means to use such materials at home. This limits their learning at home, and it is why I strive to have adequate materials for them in my classroom. Having enough consumable materials in centers and small group times will let children create, discover, and learn without limits. Offering different colored paper, crafting materials, and containers to house such items increases interest, management, and purposefulness when learning. Having enough materials available to offer students various modes of creativity allows for unlimited learning to take place.
