My students would enjoy the wide selection of books that are at varying levels and also reflective of who they are. Their unique backgrounds and interests would be available for further discovery. During writing and Language arts, mentor texts are used to show certain story elements. The students are able to use the same techniques in their own writing while staying true to their message. My students also love to use copies of books to start their own book clubs for reading independently or collaboratively. I am excited for them to explore more diverse authors and open a new world within the pages of books.
