Choice is an integral part of my classroom environment, both in curricular topics, as well as the physical make up of the room and furniture. These stools will give students an alternative to sitting in traditional chairs. Students will have a choice in what kind of learning space works best for them, whether it be stools, chairs, standing, or lying on the floor. This will help them to work collaboratively, communicate, and engage in critical thinking. In addition, these wobble stools will allow student movement without distraction to others. Flexible seating also provides comfort, as well as sensory input for students needing it.
