Since many of the students from our community come from a Spanish only background, they need extra help in learning English language skills. They practice by looking at pictures or listening to videos and then explain what they have seen or heard in English. My students need headphones and microphones to be able to record themselves and listen to what they have recorded. Having headphones available for all students, will help them be able to practice their listening and speaking skills. Using the headphones will allow them to stay focused on the task, as opposed to the noise of those around them.
