Hello, I am currently teaching a Special Education class in a public school for autistic students in grades, 2/3. The is located at a Title I school, in a very low socio-economic area, where most of the parent population earns earn an income that is less than the national standard poverty line. The student population is very underserved but I am committed to providing the an equality of education and opportunities for my students. I recently obtained a masters in education and I am committed to providing an inclusive, respectful, and reciprocal learning environment that embraces students with disabilities and builds are their unique strengths to attain academic achievement and positive outcomes. This is the first class of this type located at the site and my first classroom. Additionally, I look forward to a positive relationship with your donors based on the profound impact they can make on students lives.
