The students will have desk groups. At each group a ball chair, balance pad, kick band, standing desk, and stool will be available for students to use. These items will allow students to work and release energy at the same time. This will ultimately help them focus more and preform better in class! My students will use these flexible seating choices to feel comfortable and confident while working in class. These options will also help students with behavior since they will have less expendable energy to use. Research has shown time and time again that students just sit way too much. With flexible seating we eliminate the passive learning style and emphasize an engaging classroom community. Please help our flexible seating dreams come true!
