Our school has access to a plethora of online resources such as i-Ready, IXL, BrainPop, Google Classroom, curriculum related videos, and much more. My students love participating in independent learning with the help of the Internet, but it is difficult to fully engage in their independent learning through technology when they do not have headphones to use in class. When we work in small groups during workshop or in the morning during Do Now time, my students need to keep the volume on their Chromebooks at a very low level or mute it completely because it distracts the learning of others. These Panasonic headphones will give my scholars the ability to complete personalized independent instruction and activities on our class Chromebooks. They will be able to watch instructional videos on i-Ready and a variety of academic websites. They will also be able to easily complete assignments on Google Classroom that involve watching a video and then writing a response. Everyone in the classroom will benefit from this resource!
