Students will make artwork using a variety of materials, techniques, and processes. We need your help in sourcing different types of materials to meet those standards. Our budget is tight and I love teaching students what artists have used throughout history. When children use a variety of materials, they are more motivated to keep learning. Here I describe a couple of standards that we use in our lessons. VA: Cn10.4.1 Create works of art that reflect the cultural traditions of the community. VA: Re7.5.2 Identify and analyze cultural associations suggested by visual images.
