Every student deserves a chance to succeed in their education. When the world outside is a plethora of stress and issues, students sometimes find school is a safety zone for them. In order to transition from the stresses of daily life, a sensory room to calm, refocus, and regain composure in order to be successful in their educational learning a sensory room would be of upmost importance. The room would provide an environment of security, serenity, and stability in order to refocus and become more successful once leaving to go back to their studies. Daily students walk into my office and just ask for a moment of my time in order to speak with me and regain composure without causing an issue in the general education classroom. These students know that they are struggling with their environment and regulating themselves in this arena, and currently they have no place that offers this stress relief. I have already spoken with the student With your help this can be attained. Thank you.
