We want to develop a computer science program in our school to help our students in poverty get exposure to resources currently unavailable to them. Every time my students enter the lab, they can't wait to hear what we are working on. Currently, computers are my only resource. We have been learning coding on the computer and I would love to give them a hands-on experience to code with robots. My students have lots of questions about robots and I'd love to be able to help them get their answers. These Bee-bot robots are a good starting point for my Pre-K through 2nd grade students to bring their coding skills to life. Students will learn how to solve problems, directional patterns, and sequencing through coding the robots as well as build a foundation for those important 21st century skills they so desperately need.
