My school is a Pre-K-5 neighborhood and Title I school. We have approx. 350 students in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade classes. Approximately 97% of students are considered economically disadvantaged, 6% are LEP, 12.3% are classified EC and less than 1% are academically gifted. Over 80% of the students we serve are African American, followed by smaller populations of Hispanic/Latino, Asian, White, and Native American students. There are continued efforts at our school to create a learning environment in which students thrive academically and socially. We continue to work had to see improvements in student learning and culture.
