At the beginning of the year, I told my students that my main goal is to make them fall in love with books. So in love they stay awake at night reading under the covers. So in love that they have the book open under their desk in classes when they are supposed to be doing something else. So in love that they beg to be allowed to read "one more page". None of the students believed they could actually ENJOY reading. Now I have two students who can't stop reading, but I need more books to enchant the others.
