I am a new teacher excited for the opportunity to build a 1st Grade classroom environment that welcomes and supports all learners! The wobble stools will give students flexible seating choices. Individual whiteboard clipboards provide an eco-friendly writing surface that they can use for Writer's Workshop on the rug, math manipulations with a buddy, and recording scientific observations on the go! The bins and caddies will organize supplies and books that students will engage with every day. The media cart and speakers will create a mobile AV unit that allows me to deliver content from any place in the classroom.
By donating to this project, you will be helping to establish a positive learning environment for 1st graders that supports their independence and creates a foundation for how they move about their space. Because of the pandemic, these students have only experienced a few weeks of school in a physical classroom. I look forward to creating an adaptive and intentional space that provides students with the structure and choice that they need to learn!
