Mrs. Anderson's room is in Saltsburg Middle-High School, in rural Saltsburg, PA. Students in grades 6-12 come to the Mrs. Anderson's classroom to learn anything from Trigonometry to Literature, with a twist of music. Mrs. Anderson's room is a student centered classroom where each student's needs are met through creative interventions. In Mrs. Anderson's room we try to find productive ways to channel student energy and creativity. Music has been key in helping many students achieve their goals for the past 2 years. Students are learning how to play the guitar and piano when they have completed their work. Music has been an extremely influential factor for my students. Instead of wasting time playing video games, they're strumming a guitar or plunking around on the keyboard.
