My intervention classroom serves 3rd-5th graders at my school. My classroom provides a small, in-depth learning center model to help support the 60+ students at my school who have been designated "Academically At-Risk." These students find a safe learning environment in my classroom and enjoy learning (contrary to popular belief,) but just need a smaller group setting to "catch up" on reading skills they need to learn and develop to reach benchmark grade-level reading goals.
